Status Update for Dublin / Holyhead route

We regret to advise that due to the ongoing closure of Holyhead Port, Irish Ferries has cancelled all sailings on the Holyhead/Dublin route, up to and including 15 January 2025. We are currently contacting customers booked to travel on the route in date order to outline alternative options including sailing on the Rosslare-Pembroke route, and a NEW Fishguard/Dublin route for cars operational and bookable online from 20 December (Fishguard – Dublin: 17:30-23:00 & Dublin – Fishguard 09:30 – 15.00). Customers will receive an SMS/email outlining options and can then contact us as follows: Ireland - 0818 300 400 UK - 03717 300 400. Customers who have booked with a third party need to contact them directly regarding their booking. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank customers for their patience as we work through this disruption.

Irish Ferries is pleased to confirm a new direct service on the Isle of Innisfree from Dublin to Fishguard departing at 09.30, arriving 15.00. Dublin bookings departing will now be accommodated on this new service.

Dublin CAR & VAN only bookings departing will now be accommodated on this new service.

Please be advised this service will not carry FOOT Passengers. Foot passengers will be accommodated on the Rosslare - Pembroke route only.


If your original booking was Dublin-Holyhead, please now go to Dublin. Just turn up at Dublin port at the latest 60 mins before check-in.

If your original booking was Rosslare-Pembroke, continue as originally booked to Rosslare.
