Making
a Booking
To
make a booking on-line you must pay in full at the
time of booking. The first port of departure determines
the currency in which the booking is priced, ie
– Euro for a departure from Ireland to Britain
– Sterling for a departure from Britain to Ireland.
Amendment Fees
There is no amendment fee for changes
to passenger names, vehicle details or cabin accommodation.
Amendment fees apply to all other changes
A £10/€15 fee
applies every time a booking is changed. If a change
applies to both the outward and return sailings then
the fee is £20/€30. This
fee is in addition to any increase in fare price
Cancellation Fees
- Cancellations made 8 or more days
before sailing: £30 / €45
- Cancellations made 3- 7 days before
sailing: 50 % of fare
- Cancellations made within 48 hours
of sailing: 100% of fare
- Cancellations made after sailing :
100 % of fare.
If travel dates are amended and the booking is then subsequently cancelled the cancellation fee is based on the original date of outward travel.
Refunds
- Where bookings are amended and the total price of the new fare is lower than the original fare no refunds will be given.
- No refunds will be given on any booking after travel has commenced
- No refunds will be given on any unused portion of your ticket.

with details of your Booking Reference Number
If you have booked through a travel agent, you will
need contact them directly to arrange your refund.
E-Ticketing
Irish Ferries have adopted E-ticketing and provide
customers with an e-mail confirmation of each booking.
At check-in you will only need to present one of the
following: The e-ticket you have printed, the confirmation
e-mail you have received or your booking reference
number.
